Terms and Conditions for Slushy Machine Hire

**1. Introduction**

Welcome to Slushy Temptation! By renting a slushy machine from us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

**2. Booking and Payment**

2.1 **Reservation**:

To reserve a slushy machine, a deposit of $100.00 (one hundred dollars) is required at the time of booking. The balance must be paid in full 1 day prior to the hire date at the latest.

2.2 **Cancellation**:

Cancellations made 5 days or more before the hire date will receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations made less than 5 days before the hire date will forfeit the deposit.

2.3 **Payment Methods**:

We accept payments via bank transfer only at this stage. All payments must be cleared before the hire date.

**3. Delivery and Collection**

3.1 **Delivery**:

Delivery of the slushy machine will be made to the address provided at the time of booking. Delivery charges may apply and will be confirmed at the time of booking.

3.2 **Collection**:

The slushy machine will be collected on the agreed date and time. If additional collection charges are incurred due to failure to be present for collection, they will be billed to the customer.

**4. Use and Care**

4.1 **Operator**:

The customer must ensure that the slushy machine is operated by a competent person who has been instructed on its use.

4.2 **Maintenance**:

The slushy machine should be kept clean and in good condition. Any damage or malfunction should be reported to us immediately.

4.3 **Prohibited Uses**:

The machine must not be used for any purpose other than intended. The customer must not attempt to repair or modify the machine.

**5. Liability**

5.1 **Customer Liability**:

The customer is responsible for any damage to the slushy machine during the hire period. Costs for repairs or replacement will be charged if damage occurs.

**6. Refunds and Returns**

6.1 **Faulty Machines**: If the slushy machine fails to operate properly and the issue is not due to misuse, we will provide a replacement or offer a refund, depending on the circumstances.

6.2 **No Refunds**:

No refunds will be provided for changes in the customer’s circumstances or dissatisfaction with the slushy machine if it was operating correctly.

**7. Responsibilities**

7.1 **Health and Safety**:

The customer must comply with all health and safety regulations and ensure the slushy machine is used safely.

**8. Termination**

8.1 **Breach of Terms**:

We reserve the right to terminate the hire agreement and reclaim the machine if the customer breaches any of these terms and conditions.

8.2 **Force Majeure**:

We are not liable for any failure to deliver or collect the slushy machine due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters or strikes.

**9. Data Protection**

9.1 **Personal Data**:

By renting a slushy machine, you consent to our collection and use of your data.
